  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

You get the Cold Calls record, plus digital download, and you get a VERY limited edition ORIGINAL PAINTING (NOT a print!). I made 20 simultaneous, slightly different, conceptually identical watercolor paintings to accompany this album, based on the original Cold Calls painting featured on the LP cover and the second track "Long Eyes". Your painting is 12" x 12" watercolor & charcoal on 140lb/300GSM acid-free paper, signed as an "edition" limited to 20! All are slightly different (paint drops, lines, slight color variations), but each one has the same content.

Includes unlimited streaming of Cold Calls via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

At this tier you get the record, download, one of the 20 paintings, and finally a singed test press. The test presses were sent to me by Gold Rush Vinyl, and are in a blank white sleeve. This is essentially another copy of the record, and it has one secret little error (I won't tell you when, and it's easy to miss).

Includes unlimited streaming of Cold Calls via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.

lyrics

Run your hands across my back
The knots of muscles in my neck
Are nightmares you can help me to forget
I’ll let you close to me
I’m simple and I’m free

Talk about life underground,
Of missing love and sleeping sound
The street before me doesn’t want to breathe
Maybe it’s just me
Sing about it, sing aloud
Make every note and lyric count
In the past I've written empty words, but there’s no time for it now
Tell me secrets late at night,
If you won’t tell me no one will
My friends are few but strong, and you are still

Maybe it’s just me

There are layers on the page,
They are cities she created in which wars that we’ve waged
Will years from now still be debated, as the aftermath is gray
The spoils no one takes
The winners don’t know the flavor of that cake

So kiss me when you leave today
Let my lips send you on your way
And if you return and I’m not home,
I'll be walking ‘round and all alone
I’m waiting for you there

My friends are few but strong and you are still…
